CRRC Semiconductor is fully responsible for the company's semiconductor business operations. The company began the research and industrialization of power semiconductor technology as early as 1964. In 2008, it strategically acquired the UK-based company Dynex Semiconductor. Through more than ten years of continuous investment and platform enhancement, it has become one of the few international IDM (Integrated Design and Manufacturing) companies that simultaneously masters technologies in high-power thyristors, IGCT, IGBT, SiC devices and assembly.
Dynex Semiconductor is a subsidiary company of Zhuzhou CRRC Times Electric Corporation Ltd, with a UK based in-house manufacturing plant and the ability to outsource high quantities to facilities in China to maintain competitive lead times.
